Research has shown that role-play is an effective learning tool for neurodivergent individuals to learn social skills, and is commonly used in a range of therapies. Our behaviprogram uses the table top roleplaying game 'Dungeons and Dragons' (D&D), and we have written and designed a custom campaign specifically so that participants can explore and develop identities, whilst learning and practicing pro-social behaviours in a low-risk environment.
SOCIAL QUESTS IS A NEURO-AFFIRMING PROGRAM WHERE WE CELEBRATE NEURODIVERGENCE AND EACH INDIVIDUAL'S DIFFERENCES.
At Social Quests our passionate and highly skilled practitioners aim to help participants engage with the world of D&D whilst experiencing positive shifts in self-esteem, and pratice transferable self-autonomy skills which will allow them to navigate social situations in the real world - all whilst having FUN!
Social Quests is designed and delivered by PhD researcher (Psychology), Dr Brendan Tan (PhD) and medical doctor Dr Paul Zotov (MBBS), two highschool friends who have a passion for working with neurodivergent individuals and a love for Dungeons and Dragons (D&D).
They both enjoy having a laugh and are passionate about fostering fun, and teaching social skills in a safe and inclusive learning environments, which makes Social Quests the most enjoyable behavioural program out there!
